It has been quite a time since I graduated from college and when I returned to visit a couple of months ago, I was surprised and also amazed at the major changes that I saw.
Almost all of the changes that I noticed where aesthetics. For example, there are now more fountains there than I used to remember. The pavements and roads are much better now, some with tiles neatly arranged to form designs.
There are also light posts that are elaborately designed to look like European light posts (or I think they resemble that way). There are also more restaurants and fast food inside the campus. Funny, to think that a university allows fast food chains inside its premises is beyond me.
I guess that’s just the way it goes. Change is the only thing constant in our world so we should expect to be surprised every now and then when we revisit places from our past.
