Ever since I’ve transferred my blogs from Blogger to WordPress, I’ve seen the added opportunities or potentials to earn money from them.
Aside from most paid post sites preferring self-hosted WordPress blogs, I will also have less worries of Google suspending or worse, deleting my blogs. A friend pointed out that it’s included in Blogger’s Terms of Service that if they find your site offensive or violating any of their rules, they will do drastic actions on it. As far as I know, most TOS are pretty vague on what is offensive or what violates them or not.
But I will admit that it is very much easier to make a post on Blogger. The interace is simpler, less crowded, just meant for making a post and nothing extra bells and whistles to expect. At least not on the same level as the ones you will find on WordPress, including all the available plugins for it.
Nevertheless, I am very happy that I’ve moved to WordPress. I can tell this can be the start of something good.
