Copying Someone Else's Post

by admin on June 29, 2009

I came across a fellow plurker’s post yesterday and she shared about something surprising. According to her, one of her posts was copied by another blogger. I am not sure if the entire post was copied and so out of curiosity I asked her for a link.

Badet gave me a link to her original post. You can click here to check out her blog post about Boys Over Flowers. While she also provided me a link to see the post of the blog that she is talking about. You can click here to see that post. But unfortunately, the post was no longer available when I checked it. Could it be that the author already deleted that post?

This is not the first instance that someone complained about copying someone’s original post without reference to the original copy. I just feel that these acts are just so embarrassing because it hurts the credibility of the person guilty of copying the article just for the purpose of having something to publish on his or her blog. Will that hurt a blogger’s credibility if he just took time to acknowledge the source of the copied information? I don’t think so.
