Well, she’s an online star that’s for sure. There are so many photos of her on the internet, especially of her funeral that happened yesterday.
Photos, videos — videos of all kinds: of her during her presidency, her children, and of the various tributes given her, especially during her wake at the Manila Cathedral. Lea Salong, The Apo Hiking Society, Christian Bautista, Piolo Pascual, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez are among the singers I recall that sang for Tita Cory.
I made a search for Cory Aquino on YouTube and I got so many results of her wake and her funeral. I guess it’s a good thing that she died during this time when almost everybody has a digital camera to record this historical event.
I wasn’t there myself, but by viewing these videos and pictures which my fellow Filipinos shared, I already feel as if I was present and experienced it first hand.
