Should it bother me that a couple of my friends immediately go offline when they have just logged on to their Yahoo! Messenger accounts? I know pretty well that they are not going offline. They were just changing their status to invisible so I (or we) won’t bother them.
Why should it worry or bother me? Because sometimes (although I admit that I have no concrete basis for this) I get the feeling that they don’t want to talk to me or don’t want me to buzz them for a chit-chat so they would change their YM status to invisible.
It’s not that I would try to engage them to a chat each time they go online. I don’t talk to them much and usually I’m not the one who starts a conversation among my friends.
I guess I’m just being paranoid about it and there’s really nothing that should bother me.
