A couple of weeks ago while I was outside, I needed to check my email. The problem was I was in a mall so I had no choice but to open my email in an Internet cafe. So I did and when I was done, I closed it and paid at the counter for my Internet use.
My mistake was I didn’t delete the cache or at least the browsing history of the web browser that I used. So a few days later, my friends told me that they started to receive what looked like a spam email coming from my email account. I assured them that it wasn’t me who sent all those emails. I suspect that someone logged into my email and started using it.
That was a major lesson for me so what I did next was to change my password. It worked and since then the spam emails ceased. So I ask you my fellow bloggers to do not open your email account in public internet access. But if you had to, like I did, then you should delete the cache afterward to make sure that no one can refresh the browser and possibly log in to your account.
