I Have Never Learned How to Set Up My Outlook

by admin on October 15, 2009

I have a few domains with web hosting. Included in those hosting packages are email accounts which, I believe, you need a Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook to use. Since I am not very technically knowledgeable, I only tried to set it up once but I failed. So until now I am still using Yahoo! Mail or Gmail for my emal purposes.

Maybe it’s a reflection on how impatient I am with things that are too technical for me to understand. You might say that setting up Outlook for my own email is easy but that is you. I am a different case. While I know how to blog, Twitter and other online stuff, it’s because the interface of these tools are very easy to understand and quite straightforward after all. Now if I come across terms like POP or IMAP or whatever else about emails, I easily get lost.

Perhaps one of these days when I have the extra time, I would try it again.
