I wanna call myself a flooded blogger.
How does that sound to you? Well, that’s the truth. I for one, was very challenged to go online these past few weeks because of all these typhoons coming in and out of the country.
A lot of provinces in the Philippines have suffered with the onslaught of days and days of almost continuous rains. And when i see all those people on tv whose homes were flooded, for the first time in my life, I could really relate to them.
Our house got flooded, too. The water was almost up to the neck of my dad. I didn’t get to wade through the flood water because I was busy arranging our things on our second floor. And it’s a blessing that we have a second floor because we were able to avoid getting wet for three consecutive days during which typhoon Ondoy had left our area in deep water.
I am grateful that aside from some of our things, my family and all of our neighbors are in good health. The only casualty are some of our stuff that have been completely ruined. But those are just material things that are easily replaced.
