Windows Vista

by admin on November 11, 2009

My friend just bought a laptop with a very basic edition of Vista. I forgot to ask what it was called, but the distinctive thing that I remember about it is that he can only open up to three programs at the same time.

Just like when I tested it, I opened Firefox, Yahoo! Messenger, and OpenOffice.org Writer. Then when I tried to open Notepad, I got a notice telling me that I can only open three programs. That sucks! Big time.

But my friend said that Vista came free with the laptop and since he doesn’t want to just throw it away, he had it installed. Anyway he’s a writer so he usually just need a web browser and a word processor and he’s all set.

However that will not work for me. I am using Windows XP and with it I can use as many programs at the same, as long as my computer can.
