Avoid Online Scams

by Online Diva on January 14, 2010

Ever since the World Wide Web and the email were born, there have been people or organizations who try to fool and scam a lot of innocent people out of their hard earned money.

One example would be when you will receive an email telling you that you are the long lost, and last remaining relative of a recently deceased wealthy person or that you have won a lottery. You will be told to send these people some money, usually just a hundred dollars but sometimes can reach up to thousands f dollars, instructing you that the money you will be sending will pay for the taxes and other expenses necessary to speed up the transfer of that fortune to you. Of course, once you sent them some cash, you will never hear from them again.

So people, let’s all be intelligent enough to know which claims are real and which ones are scams. It is not easy to earn money these days, actually it never was, so think a hundred times before you give in to such claims. Seek someone else’s advice before you make any step.
