But the truth is, most of the people who want to make money online are those who would have little to no money to allocate in outsourcing these tasks. So that brings further frustration for those who were made believe that making money online is just easy.

I am no guru but I would say that before I earned my first dollar online, I took the liberty of learning the ropes and doing my online tasks on my own.

You might say that I wasted my precious time or that I am bragging about it. Actually, what I am proud of is that I really took some time to at least understand the basics and not depend on get rich quick schemes. I made mistakes along the way, but I remember the lessons that made me improve my blogging skills.

You can do this using a single blog (with articles written by different authors) to publish your posts or individual members will only talk about a specific topic and will publish it in their own blogs.

You can talk about these things to your fellow members before starting any group blogging project.

What’s in it for the bloggers to participate in this group blogging activity? You can discuss this to your fellow bloggers so you can set expectations as to the goal of your blogging efforts. Are you doing this to add spice to your content, discuss a specific topic using different points of view, share link love or fill in the gaps in your blogging activity? Take your pick. Make sure that this will be clarified before you move on to the next step.

Set the theme before you go ahead and write it. It can be imposed by the leader of the group bloggers or the members can pitch in their suggestions and choose among those topics as their final pick. If you have been reading this blog for sometime, you already knew that I had my own share of blogging mistakes and challenges. One of my challenges is when I almost have to start developing this blog all over again in terms of traffic because I moved from blogspot to self hosted wordpress.

And when I checked my Alexa stats, that’s when I’ve found out that I have to start promoting again from scratch now that I have a different url for my blog.

Yahoo! I feel so overwhelmed by knowing that this blog is up again, for good using WordPress platform.

I consider this as one of my great birthday present.

So now that I have this online again, I would have to do a lot of things tonight. I will have to set the categories manually. So this means that I have to do this for 90++ times before I can finally trim the categories for this online diva blog.

Next, I would have to choose the template that I have to use for this blog. But I cannot upload the template yet, I would have to ask my boyfriend Johann to do that for me, as I  am challenged to work with WordPress Cpanel.

After I have my desired template visible on this blog, I will add the rest of the needed widgets and start to make some connections again through blog commenting and blog hopping.

I really appreciate the patience of some online friends who are as excited as I in having this blog go ‘live’ again. Just give me some more time and I will make it up to you.

Now that’s a quote from “Fields of Dreams” and it has often been applied to blogging. I encountered one person in a certain forum who is very new to this whole blogging phenomenon. He asked a question as to why is his blog still not getting many traffic (I’m not sure what is his standard of the word ‘many’) considering that his blog is already 3 months’ old.

Three months, do you guys think that is already a good enough time to expect much from a blog? In my opinion it’s not enough. And I don’t know the details of this fellow’s blogging habits but I’m sure that the reason why he is not satisfied is because he set quite a high standard on his blog. His goal might be too hard to reach. Perhaps he’s already expecting thousands of regular visitors. But at 3 months, I’d really say dream on.

There is so much work to be done with a blog especially if you expect to earn from it. Number one would be posting valuable content on a regular basis. Valuable content because what good is a blog if all that can be read on it are pure trash? And posting on a regular basis is important because if you fail to update your blog, you will lose your visitors.

That’s just my two cents on this blogging topic.
