I decided to log in to my tweetdeck today only to find out some Entrecard members tweeting something about Entrecard, well aside from those invites to register an account with them. Here are some of their surprising, and some revealing random tweets:

I’m starting to love EC dropping again.

Yes, I missed dropping EC for the past few days. I have been more busy doing blog hopping within the blogs of my Adgitize network. I want to really try earning through Adgitize and will post about it in the coming days. But for now, it is indeed time to bring back some EC dropping love for my blogger friends within Entrecard network.

Frankly, the issue on Entrecard inflation has indeed affected my dropping habits. I have a lot of blogs within the Entrecard network and I felt that they should also give credit to bloggers who keep on updating their blogs aside from those who are dropping ECs. What do you think?

Have you heard the latest news about Entrecard? Check out the latest message included as part of the email sent to their Entrecarders today:

To ensure a stable credit economy and reduce the outstanding credits, Entrecard will no longer give Entrecard credits to the person receiving a drop. In other words, instead of awarding 2 credits for each drop (one to the dropper and one to the blog site owner), only 1 credit will be given to the dropper. This change will be effective September 1, 2009 and will last until further notice.

Okay, this will make the droppers happier because they will reap more Entrecard credits as they visit the blogs frequently. On the other hand, this will make the visited blogs get traffic still, although, they will only add some credits to their account if they will also reciprocate the drops and visit some more blogs to get some more points.

What can you say about this changes? Are you for or against it? Also, what other changes in the Entrecard system that you see happening in the coming days?

Here’s an update from Entrecard. They will suspend in giving bloggers some credits out of posting their blog updates.

That is the reason that I noticed a significant number of difference in my EC credit figures. I mean, before, I see an increase in the price of my EC widget whenever I post something on my blog. That explains why I sometimes come up with more than 750 Entrecard credit price a day, because of my blog updates and other blogging activities involving Entrecard.

That made me answer some of my own questions. Is this their way to get rid of some server load issues? Maybe. Remember that this is one of the reasons that the former Entrecard management offered buying all those excess credits to lighten up their server load.

Will this development turn me off? Of course not. I will still post some blog updates with or without those additional credits. Can I complain to Entrecard out of this development? Yes. But will it worth my time? I don’t think so. They provided this venue for us bloggers for free so I just think that it is safe to stay as long as I conform and do not have anything against their rules.

I’ve just completed my 300 Entrecard drops for my call center blog. I did it quite fast because of the Entrecard toolbar that I have here in Mozilla. Good thing I never encountered a blogger attack site unlike last time.

But I what I wanted to share with you today is how I’m turned off by some of the blogs that have a whole page ads in it. I did not only notice a couple of them, but I remembered seeing roughly seven to ten blogs all in all (based on the list of blogs where I dropped my EC).

It just turns me off. I mean, most of the bloggers wanted to make money online. That’s fine. You can show ads on your blog because those ads can also bring in money, well and good.

But what I can’t stand is the fact that these blogs load so slow just because of those whole page ads running before the actual content does load on the page. It’s just so sad that instead of me reading your post and leaving comments on your blog, you made me leave you, my dear blogger.

I know that to each is own, you may agree or disagree, love or hate me. But I won’t visit your blogs until I know that it is your post that I will see first and not the whole page box with the X mark to close so just I can see what you have in your page. :}

There are times, especially during weekends, that I could stay up for almost 20 hours just by being online. What would I be doing then? Oh, lots of things. I would be writing posts for my blogs, visiting other blogs, dropping my Entrecard credits, reading news, watching movies on YouTube, emailing, instant messaging and more. There are so many things that I can and have to do on the Internet that sometimes I think 24 hours are not enough.

Well, it’s not like I can stay up for one whole day. I still need to sleep after all although I personally know of a few people who can go on for two days without sleeping. But I’m not like them so 24 hours will never be enough.

On a normal day, with work having to be considered in the equation, I would usually spend 10 hours on the Internet doing all those things I mentioned above. Generally, I am being productive because I don’t usually surf around just for entertainment. It’s always for a purpose especially with my blogs.

But this one is true: that I can’t survive a day without going online. It has become a major part of my life that should my Internet provider conk out tomorrow, I would be rushing mad to go out and get a new one.

I know of some bloggers who say that Entrecard is useful only when you can make 300 drops each day. While that might be partly true, there are other ways that you can benefit from being part of this blogging community.

How about this? Let’s say you’ve just written a very informative and wonderful post that you think a lot of people would have a good time reading it. How can you, sort of, spread the word?

Through Entrecard.

After publishing your post, start dropping your EC especially to those bloggers whom you think would like your post. About 100 drops would be enough but if you have the time, by all means do 300 drops.

This is like tapping these bloggers and whispering to them, “Hey, why not visit my blog today? I’ve got something really nice posted there.”

Since I was a member of Entrecard, my blogging day is not complete without doing the EC droppings on all my blogs.

Just like now, I am starting to do it again if not for the message that I see on my screen.

Remember what I mentioned on my last post about me loving Firefox 3? Take a look at this picture.

I’m doing my regular dropping yesterday when I saw this warning on the screen. Too bad for the blog because I wasn’t able to pay her a visit and drop my EC. But too good for me that I was given a warning and so that protected my laptop for possible technical harm.

If you haven’t tried Mozilla Firefox 3 yet, this is the best time to do so.
