How do you apologize to a person?

I ask this because there are times when the person is not even sincere in asking for an apology and it seems that they are just doing it to shut the issue and move on.

Just like when we offend a person online, how should we apologize? I mean when you do and someone else is observing you do it, do you think that person will find it believable? Check out the video from a certain Tyra Banks episode and let me know your thoughts.

It is only now that I am really impressed with Justin Timberlake’s talent. He is not just a great dancer but more of a total performer as well. I didn’t know that he started to plunge in the entertainment industry that young. He joined Star Seach as a young, cute and talented boy.

I also admire him as he is doing some more great things to improve on his craft. He proved that there are other chances that he can showcase his talent. That will definitely push him some more to improve on his craft as he also carries the right attitude attitude of a star and total performer.

I want to help these guys in a little way that is why I am making this short post to help spread the word about their talent.

Unlike the other contestants who sing foreign songs during their audition, Xavier University Cultural Dance Troupe opted to make a different stand. They performed the cultural dance of a certain tribe in Mindanao, showing the grace and the moves that has made their culture rich and unique. This is truly a testament that there are people who still want to preserve their cultural heritage and promote those through mainstream media.

I honestly want you to keep going and compete until the finals. I would really be proud that you are doing something good to uplift the presence of some of our cultural minority folks in Mindanao and that you are using nothing but real talent in doing so.

One great Filipino comedian Palito passed away this morning. I made a post about Palito’s memories in my other blog.

Years before he passed away, there were already issues of him needing some more financial assistance as he became inactive in showbusiness. But he remained productive and strong willed despite the financial challenge. May the rest of his memories be always remembered because he is one classic actor that the Philippine Cinema had. May his soul rest in peace.

I watched a local television documentary entitled ‘Kalye’ (Road) and they tackled the issue of Internet Addiction Disorder in one of their segments. This is an interesting subject would you agree?

What is Internet Addiction Disorder?

According to Wikipedia, Internet Addiction Disorder or IAD is Internet overuse, problematic computer use or pathological computer use, is excessive computer use that interferes with daily life.

Okay, so with that, we should only consider it as an addiction if being online interferes your daily life and hurts your relationship with other people.

What are the symptoms of IAD?

• difficulty cutting the hours spent on the Internet
• lack of sleep
• fatigue
• conflicts such as failed grades or decreased productivity
• apathy and racing thoughts

Question for Discussion

Now that we uncovered what IAD means, I have a question for you guys. Do you have this in one way or another? Are the type who spend so much time for some social networking sites and online games like  Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, Twitter, Plurk, DOTA and the like?

How about those people who heavily rely on being online for a living like Internet Marketers and bloggers? Can you consider them having this disorder? Why or why not?

The 2010 Elections is fast approaching, sooner than people expect this from happening.

Why did I say so? Because I have never seen a lot of politicians making their television debut. I am not talking of their usual face time on the news. This is all about these political ads that were claimed to be one of just public information ads.

Who are they kidding? I mean I have seen those techniques in some past few elections wherein some politicians are eager beaver to show their ads on boob tube and letting people know how they can bring difference in the country.

Which makes me think and doubt of their sincerity in running for a certain post. Imagine how much do they need to fork over just to air one 50-60 seconder commercial? Now I don’t want to start counting. It seems that they all have the money to take advantage of going to mainstream media right away.

Jamie Pugh can capitalize the drama of his life being a young widower in his 20′s but he chose to tell everyone what he does at work, a warehouse driver by day and pizza delivery boy (ahmm man), at night.

When I saw him at first, he reminded me of my father (who shares the same hairline) but what kept me from watching it countless times (until now that I am writing this post) is the (cool pitch yet warm tone) voice that is meant to sing in front of the Queen and be heard by a lot of people to appreciate his talent.

And oh, speaking of appreciation, his heartwarming interpretation of Bring Him Home by Les Miserables was twitted by Demi Moore. She’s no authority when it comes to music, but hey, that’s still something right?
