I just cleaned one of the rooms last weekend and found out that I got stack of office supplies that were unused since I bought them last year.

Is it a sign of me doing more work at home tasks soon? That really made me think of my options because I have been contemplating of being a full time work at home wifey. Feels exciting that is why I am starting to really get other people’s opinion about it. Feel free to share your thoughts on this option of working from home here. I would really appreciate it.

I just opened my mail today and was surprised to see an email from Paypal.

According to the email:

This survey will take about 15 – 20 minutes. Please be assured that all information collected will be kept strictly confidential, in accordance with PayPal’s Privacy Policy.

What’s more is that you’ll get a chance to win a notebook if you complete the survey. The deadline will be on March 12. Now, I’m thinking of doing it. I would love to own a new notebook.

A former colleague in a call center is searching for jobs in sales here in the Philippines since she wants to change career and that she wants to receive huge commissions.

I don’t think she would have any problems switching careers because she has the gift of gab. Aside from that, she is never tired going to places just to push her products. I guess it is about time to also let her know that she can do it online. Because for her, jobs in sales primarily means going out in the field to do it.

This year marks the beginning of the search for our Philippine candidates for the international beauty contests like Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss World.

I watched the live telecast of Binibining Pilipinas 2010 last night and of course, glued my attention on the Question and Answer portion.

I have some comments in mind not related to the questions but on some other details about the pageant like:

• the male host looked like he’s looking for the next word to say, has choppy delivery of spiels on some parts of the pageant proper
• composition of judges, watch the videos and you’ll get what I mean
• side comments of the male host that are uncalled for
• other comments that I’ll share some other time.

My cousin knew how much I work online in the past few years, so much that he asked me a favor to find something for his research.

Of course I told him that it was very easy to do. I just searched for electric cigarettes as the keyword on google and I got a lot of resources as part of search results. He was really amazed on how I do it but I told him that is something that he can do by himself. That made him very interested and now, he’s asking me to give him an hour or two to finally learn some basic online research. Not late for a 16 year old to learn it right?

It seems that the next big thing in cellphones today is the china phone, at least here in the Philippines.

This is because a lot of people here in the Philippines are now checking out China Phones, also known as the cloned phones. Well, aside from having almost all the features of their equivalent ‘original’ units, these products also come in cheapest prices. Who wouldn’t be tempted to buy one right?

Well, I was part of the exception. Even if I have the budget, I’d prefer to buy the ‘original units’ because I am more concerned of the quality of phones that I have. I wouldn’t want to trade these gadgets for their lesser ‘quality’ equivalents. That’s for my opinion, how about yours?

I have been aware of my rights as a responsible driver only when I got my car. I also came to check some cheap auto insurance proposals for my car.

Why did I say cheap? Because some other auto insurance companies will be bringing your money down the drain, that is if you will not make your assignment first to check your options. But as for me, I already did my part of doing some research and comparison that is why I got a fair rate for the car. Something that is just fine and I’m proud to say that I already paid this in full for this year.

If you remember my last post about about my plan to sell textbooks, I must say that we are just two steps closer to our plan. We already collected half of his books in his parents house. We are just about to collect the rest and identify which books to sell before we can come up with the labeling, pricing and promoting it. But of course, if there’s a better and faster way to do it, then we will welcome the idea. Who wouldn’t want to make money out of selling books in a more efficient way right?
